WTPUA 30"
Large Diameter Utility Lines
Project Details
West Travis County Public Utility Agency is a water utility that serves customers in the Austin, Texas area. In order to meet growing demands for water in their rapidly growing service area, the decision was made to install a redundant 30” transmission line to supply adequate raw water from Lake Austin to their existing water treatment plant. Cash was selected to construct this new 30” ductile iron water line. The project was installed in a heavily populated and environmentally sensitive area, calling for caution and careful consideration to be made during the installation of this winding pipeline.
